Was not happy at all with this stay. We got there close to midnight after a 10 hour drive so we all went to bed right away. When we woke up the next morning I noticed the ceiling had these red splash stains all over it looks like possibly blood or some red sauce? Whatever the case, it was disgusting to have slept there. When I went to the front desk they didn't seem too concerned about it and said they would mention it to house keeping. I wasn't offered any compensation for it being disgusting because now the cleanness of the bedding and rest of the room comes into question.... also there is no complimentary breakfast. They charge $22 for breakfast buffet and $25 for parking with no other parking available. We paid $250 a night for this mess. Would never return to this Marriott.

This place doesn’t even live up to its lowly 3 star ranking: Breakfast: we are told we can order omelets off the a la carte menu: we attempt to order the omelets and are told: you can have ONE vegetable, ONE meat or ONE cheese…soo no tomato onion and green peppers i guess The food was barely edible and EXPENSIVE…just terrible The bar is barely functional with only one-of each kind of spirit…no assortment of juices…nothing The pool is advertised and of course its a draw…but here we are just sitting here looking at a locked gate- kids in swim gear ready to go…gate locked…kids in tears The TV in the room functions “sometimes” IMO MARRIOTTS have not recovered their same level of service from pre-pandemic…they give the BARE minimum for a premium. Stay somewhere…else

Paid $238 for 1 night. Stayed 2. We’re not warned there is a $25 parking fee. No other hotels have we ever paid for parking. There is no logic in paying to park at the hotel you are paying to stay at. Go to the Sheraton or courtyard that does not change for parking. They do not have breakfast either. Stay away from this hotel.

I am a loyal Marriot member and I’ve stayed along Stemmons freeway at another Marriot property often and not had this issue. I decided to give this one a try. It was hands down one of the noisiest if not noisiest rooms I’ve ever been put in. It sounded like nascar constantly. I tried earplugs. Eventually gave up after being told they couldn’t move me due to no rooms being available except one that had broken AC, and moved across the street at midnight. Definitely request a room not facing the highway, but even then I think this property is just noisy!

No housekeeping through length of stay

Check-in was a breeze and the staff were pleasant. Room was comfortable and was clean. However.. I visited here in September in business and came back about 3 weeks later again. One of the elevator shafts was broken through both visits with large sheets of paper over the buttons. You would think this would be fixed promptly but was not through both visits. Parking is not free but platinum elite guests get a discounted rate. That was a plus. M Club access was just OK. Good for some free soft drinks and some quiet space but that was about it. Housekeeping - I noticed during my first of 3 nights that my room was not cleaned. I tried calling the front desk but got tired of waiting 30 rings to the front desk. I brought it up the next morning and they said the only reason I'd not have housekeeping was if I opted out or my do not disturb sign was still on the door. None of these applied. The staff said they'd look into it. Someone came up to at least change the garbage and give fresh towels but that was the extent of the followup. I never heard anything back from anyone. They did have free service to DAL airport which was appreciated. However I now am going to consider other hotels in the area instead. There are no ice machines, instead there are bags of ice available for free in their marketplace.
